Really good for a first conversion. Only issue is that there are no north lines on the map. As a suggestion, it looks like you have used different ground textures for forest and open. This looks strange (and makes easier navigation). I think its better to use the same texture for everything and just change ground colour and ground vegetation for forest and open.
